When Do You Get Traps? - Guild Wars Forums

When do you actually get traps as a Ranger? I am in Lion's Arch and have yet to get a trap skill. There are a good number of them but none have presented themselves yet.

this is an old post, didnt get any responses but i now am to to the lvl (15) where i wana know this. right now farthest i ahve gotton is LA. any answer

I'm 18th R/W and the only "trap" I have is Healing Spring. Yeah, it's a trap. Weird huh? I like it though - I let the meat shields run into melee, then I run right behind them and plant Healing Spring. Works like a charm.

Nobody's found traps? Shoot, I subbed Ranger because I wanted traps.

well, i just got some traps near lions arch, actaully. i ahd to use the signet of capture n a bos up to the north a bit, near the quest that involves protectign the scribe form the nightmares. the boss there uses barbed traps,

causes about 38 damage, and bleeding and cripple for 12 seconds. i think my char has wilderness 5 or so.
